We’ve got a soft spot for our local arthouse theater (and customer), Ragtag Cinema, and they could use some help.

Their projector systems are about to go out of date, making it impossible for them to screen the high-profile films that provide the funding for other smaller-budget features.

If you’ve ever watched an indie film on one of their couches, or attended the True/False film festival (which they also run), we urge you to help out. Ragtag has a Kickstarter page up to help facilitate the fundraising for the new digital projection system.

For those unfamiliar, Kickstarter allows community members to pledge money, with the donation not being accepted until the project goal has been met. In Ragtag’s case, this goal is $80,000, with a deadline of November 10^th.
