Socket Fiber Begins Major Fiber Internet Expansion in Fredericktown
New investment will bring fiber-to-the-home service to more than 3,000 homes and businesses
FREDERICKTOWN, MO, Sept. 22, 2026 – Socket Fiber announced today that construction is underway on a major fiber internet expansion project that will bring high-speed fiber-to-the-home service to more than 3,000 homes and businesses in the Fredericktown area.
The project represents a significant infrastructure investment in the community and will provide residents and local businesses with access to reliable, future-ready internet service designed to support everything from remote work and online learning to streaming, gaming, and business operations.
As construction progresses, Socket crews will continue work across Fredericktown to build a state-of-the-art fiber network capable of delivering the speed, reliability, and performance that today’s connected households and businesses demand.
