I paid via Bank Bill Pay—why haven’t you received it yet?
Bank bill pay often sends a paper check by mail, even if your bank shows it as an electronic payment. It can take 7–10 business days to arrive. To avoid delays, we recommend scheduling your payment by the 14th of the month.
If your payment hasn’t posted, please ask your bank for a copy of the cleared check and email it to office@corp.socket.net for review.
Do you offer payment extensions?
Yes, we offer extensions if you call in. But please note:
- Late fees still apply.
- If payment isn’t made by 5 PM on the extension date, you won’t be eligible for another extension for 6 months.
- Disconnections are automated and may still occur even with an approved extension.
When does billing start and how does it work?
Billing begins once your service is installed and active. You’ll receive:
- A prorated bill for the first month.
- Then, a full bill on the 1st of each month.
- Payment is due by the 20th.
- Late fees and disconnection may occur if unpaid by the end of the month.
Why did I get an email from you about my payment or card?
We send:
- Card expiration reminders if you have a card on file.
- Payment reminders if your balance hasn’t been paid by the 20th
How much does equipment cost?
Every plan includes one free router. Additional routers are just $12 per month.
How much is installation?
Installation is completely free for all plans!
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit cards and checks. Pay online through your account or visit our Columbia office in person.
