Socket to host open house event in Boonville
Socket will host an open house event this Thursday, May 10, from 4-7 p.m. at Harley Park to educate residents on the expansion of its gigabit fiber network throughout Boonville.
The Columbia-based telecommunications provider recently completed an expansion project to Boonville businesses and now plans to offer the service to residential customers in the area as well.
This Thursday’s event will feature food and activities for all ages, as well as the opportunity to learn more about the project and ask questions about the construction and installation process.
Socket has chosen six potential expansion areas in Boonville and is actively seeking more neighborhoods to add to that list. Those interested in the service can visit www.socket.net/fiberhood to sign up or request expansion to their area.
