Socket expands service to Fayette area
Socket is proud to announce it has expanded its fiber-optic broadband network to Fayette, which brings ultra-fast internet and reliable telephone service to the area.
With fiber-optic technology, local businesses, schools, healthcare facilities, and more will have access to the latest communications technology available. Fiber is considered to be a future-proof technology, since its large bandwidth capacity will be able to accommodate increased internet usage for decades to come.
Socket celebrated the expansion with representatives of the Fayette Chamber of Commerce at a ribbon cutting on July 12. Company officials explained that they chose to come to Fayette due to a need for more high-speed internet options in the area, as well as the receptiveness of city officials to the project.
Socket is also hoping to bring high-speed fiber internet to residential users in the Fayette community in the near future. Interested customers can learn more and sign up online at www.socket.net/fiberhood.
