Coffman elected to FISPA board of directors

The Federation of Internet Solution Providers of the Americas (FISPA), a national telecommunications organization, has elected Carson Coffman of Socket as its treasurer.

Coffman, Socket co-owner, will draw on more than 17 years of experience to help other small to mid-sized telecommunications companies throughout the country. Many of those companies, like Socket, are building or expanding fiber-optic broadband networks.

“I’m honored to serve on the FISPA board for the coming year,” Coffman said. “By collaborating with other members and sharing best practices for customer care and fiber-to-the-home, our customers are sure to benefit.”

FISPA is a nonprofit organization established in 1996 to support small to mid-sized service providers while helping them compete against incumbent carriers. Learn more at www.fispa.org

Socket provides telephone, internet and television services to Missouri homes and businesses. Founded in 1994, its local team delivers state-of-the-art technology with quick, friendly service. Socket is also rapidly expanding its high-speed fiber broadband network throughout the state. Learn more at www.socket.net.
