Inside Business Sales Representative:

Location: Columbia, MO, Jefferson City, MO, or St. Peters, MO

Hours: Full-Time

Requirements: Qualified candidates should have an Associate's Degree and/or equivalent work experience in the Telecommunications/Internet field. Strong prospecting and communications skills are a must. Applicants must possess excellent sales skills, a positive and professional attitude, and a strong desire to succeed. Must have the ability to multi-task, be self-motivated and work in a team environment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Developing new sales opportunities through various prospecting methods.
  • Determining customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions. Product focus will be on SMB solutions, including DSL products, Long Distance service, Audio Conferencing service, Fax to Email and Hosted Phone Systems.
  • Accurately completing all customer contract paperwork and process customer transactions such as orders and quotes in a timely fashion.
  • All activities are to be entered in Saleforce.com or appropriate tools according to departmental procedures. This includes all sales, prospecting, appointments and customer demos. 
  • Participating in all regularly scheduled Sales Meetings, including weekly Sales Kick Off meeting, one on one meetings with the Inside Sales Manager and all training sessions.
  • Participating in customer facing events like Lunch & Learns, trade shows and expo booths as required.
  • Assisting with onboarding and mentoring new Hires as required.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
