When Josh Connon began working at Socket in September 2001, he brought with him over two and a half years experience in the technology and telecommunications industry from working at Sprint, Rent-a-Geek and Alorica Inc. Based on his strong performance, Josh moved from consumer sales to business sales less than a year after he started. He is now Socket's inside business sales lead. He is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Inside Business Sales department and performs supervisory responsibilities such as hiring, coaching, counseling and training.
Background
Josh grew up in Bellevue, Nebraska and now lives in Columbia with his wife Amanda of eight years and their three children Michael, Elizabeth, and Katelyn. In his spare time, Josh enjoys working on projects in his garage whether it be working on his truck, fixing his motorcycle, or just tackling household projects.
Community Involvement
Josh has twice been recognized as Socket's You Make the Difference employee of the month in December 2004 and again in March 2008, a designation that people rarely receive twice. To give back to the community, Josh volunteers at his church, various Socket service events and in the Columbia community.
