Setting Up Newsgroup Accounts in Outlook Express

	Open Outlook Express and then click on Tools and then Accounts

	Now, click on the Add and then News

	Enter your display name, or whatever name you want to show up when you post a new article, then click on Next

	Now you will need to enter your email address and then click on Next We recommend that you not use your real address because of spammers trolling the groups for addresses. Feel free to use nobody@socket.net. Email sent there is deleted automatically.

	Then you will have to enter the news server, news.socket.net, then click on Next

	Now you will have to hit Finish

	Then hit Close

	If your computer doesn't have a list of the newsgroups then it will ask to get them downloaded, so click on Yes here

	Here you will see a status bar for the newsgroups list downloading, once this is finished, you can find the newsgroup that you want to subscribe to
